The name of the company is AVANT GARDE (Pvt.) Ltd. We are an indenting, consulting, importer, distributor and logistical support
company. We do business with Pakistani and foreign OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) who want sole representatives
and consultants for doing business in Pakistan. We also do work with foreign companies requiring logistical support for their
operations in Pakistan.
The company was incorporated in Islamabad, Pakistan on 17th May 2006, under the Company's ordinance 1984.
REGISTERED WITH: Avant Garde (Pvt.) Ltd. is registered with DGDP (Directorate General Defence Purchases) and PCAA (Pakistan
Civil Aviation Authority).
MEMBERSHIP: Avant Garde (Pvt.) Ltd. is a corporate member of ICCI (Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry)

The CEO of the company, who is also a Director of the company is Air Cdre (Rtd) Salim Shahid. He has 30 years of experience in
handling defense/civil related projects.
EXPERIENCE: He was Director Air Traffic Services of Pakistan Air Force from July 2000 to June 2004. He has also worked on
deputation to Army Aviation, Civil Aviation Authority Pakistan and Royal Saudi Air Force for three years each. His work on airspace
management was commended by Pakistan, USA and UK. He was the architect of a five year plan for the revamping of PAF
operational facilities. The plan is now being implemented by the Air Force and new equipment is being procured including ATC
radars. CEO AVANT GARDE brings with him rich experience of management and administration as well as expertise in executing
aviation related projects. He was awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz (M) by the Government of Pakistan for his meritorious services.
